How to decorate your hallway for Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching so get your hallway ready for the festive season with our top decorating tips.

Before you start, give the hall a good clean and clear out clutter – it could be decorated for at least two weeks so it’s worth the effort. Replace your doormat with a festive one, too.

Hallway checklist:
• Festive doormat
• Garlands (we used three)
• Red ribbon (at least 3cm wide and around 10m long)
• Stockings – find out how to make your own
• Decorations – we used 18 felt snowflakes
