Here at Housetohome, we are always on the lookout for interesting new kitchen ideas - after all, it is apparently the heart of the home! This week we've noticed a distinctly kitchen-related theme amongst our bloggers.

We love the black and white chic kitchen-diner Emily has posted on Roomenvy - that monochrome scheme and chic cafe look can be achieved with just a few well-chosen accessories, great if you want to makeover your kitchen on a budget.  

Over on Country Days, Rhoda and the team have been posting about the progress of their kitchen garden on our office roof. Perhaps they could inspire you to grow your own fruit and veg - if we can do it, we're sure you can!

Finally, we're definitely fans of the uber-cool kitchen gadget trend that the team at Beautiful Kitchens have been posting about - super-high-tech wine coolers. What could be nicer than relaxing with a glass of perfectly chilled (or ambient!) wine at the end of a long week?
