New White Cube gallery opens
The White Cube opens the doors to its third and largest gallery this October on Bermondsey Street, South London.
The new White Cube Gallery opens this month and will include three principal exhibition spaces, substantial warehousing, private viewing rooms, an auditorium and a bookshop
The gallery is divided into two sections; the South Galleries, where White Cube's major exhibitions will be housed and three smaller galleries - the North Galleries - which will feature an innovative new programme of exhibitions.
White Cube will also introduce a new programme of exhibitions called 'Inside the White Cube' which profiles work by artists that haven't previously shown at the gallery. The programme begins with Marieta Chirulescu, Mary Corse and Kitty Kraus.
Jay Jopling said: "The opening of the White Cube Bermondsey is an affirmation of the ongoing strength of London as a creative hub and the next chapter in White Cube's history."
This exciting new space is spread over 58,000 sq ft and has been designed by Casper Mueller Kneer Architects.
