10) Enclose the raw edges of the main fabric, lining and wadding with the trim all around the bottom edge of the cosy. Tack in place and top stitch close the trim’s edge on both sides, overlapping and turning under the excess. Turn cosy through by pushing lining and wadding to the inside of the tartan fabric. Secure lining and wadding to the top of the cosy by working a single stitch in the piping seam through all layers.
