Step 4
Place the front bedspread panel on top of the back panel, right sides facing, with the two raw scalloped edges aligned. The velvet piping cord should be sandwiched between the two linen panels. Pin and baste the scallops and the three straight sides together, leaving a 1.5cm seam allowance on the three straight sides.


Step 5
Machine-stitch close to the piping cord and along the straight sides leaving a 50cm gap on the bottom short side, for turning the bedspread right side out.
