* housetohome's top tip is always try before you buy. Lie down on the mattresses in the show room. A good indication if it's the right mattress for you is to slide your hand into the hollow of your back.  If it slides in easily and there is a gap, the bed is too firm.  If it's difficult to slide your hand in, the mattress is too soft.
