Turn a £3.99 bunch into a designer bouquet
In a matter of minutes you can transform an inexpensive bunch of flowers from your local supermarket into a gorgeous centrepiece.
HERE'S HOW...
•Line a glass tank vase by wrapping a few large leaves from the garden, such as wide grasses, around the inside to hide the stems of your bouquet.
•Trim the stems of the flowers so the heads will sit 2 to 3cm above the top of the vase.
•Holding the flowers in one hand so the heads form a dome, push foliage from your garden into the bunch so there's a leaf between each of the flower heads. Finish off by placing large hosta leaves around the outside of the bunch, overlapping the edges of leaves to surround the bunch entirely. Place the bouquet in the vase.
