Acrylic cabinetry can be either solid or sprayed on. Parapan is a solid hi-gloss pure acrylic, which can be cut to any size. Its colours are UV stable, so it won't fade in sunlight, and it's waterproof and repairable.
Corian is a solid surface made up of one-third acrylic resin and two-thirds natural minerals. Durable, stain-resistant and hygienic, it can be moulded into curves for added interest.
A third option for acrylic finishes is for them to be applied veneer-like to other base materials, which gives a glossy result for less.
