Step 3
Machine along the scallop lines, and cut out, leaving a 0.25 cm margin. Snip in between the scallops, for easier turning. Turn right side out, pushing the scallops into shape, and iron.

Step 4
Put the strings together, gingham sides facing. Pin and baste around the three straight sides leaving a 1cm seam allowance. Machine together, leaving a 1cm gap in the centre to insert coat-hanger. Trim off excess to 0.5cm and overlock raw edges. Turn right side out and iron.
