When must the pack be ready?

The seller, or the estate agent marketing the property, should commission a HIP before the house goes on the market. This goes for all properties, including leasehold properties. This means there will be more information in place for potential buyers from the first day the property is put on the market.

You can no longer market a property without a HIP in place from the outset.
