Amanda Kaye of LK Interiors, is a fan of flock: “For wow factor in a large hall, flock is brilliant. I love the cream flock on top of silver metallic paper by Cole & Son – what you call a foil flock. A few companies, such as GP&J Baker, are doing some lovely flock stripes. In a bedroom, we recently made a velvet-buttoned wall behind the bed (pictured), playing with the idea of an oversized headboard. Velvet has an opulent texture and its colour changes with the light.”
