Make a decorative display of your favourite seaside snaps by transferring them onto plates and hanging them to the wall

Time 1 hour & overnight drying

You will need
• Digital photos
• Colour printer
• Lazertran paper
• Methylated spirit
• White plates
• Varnish
• Plate hooks

How to do it
1 Following the instructions with the Lazertran paper, print out your digital images, remembering to resize them to fit in the plate. Leave to dry for 30 minutes. Cut out your images to fit within the plate rims. Soak until the image starts to lift from the backing paper (about 1 minute).

2 Rub a little methylated spirit onto the plate and then slide the wet transfer onto the plate and smooth out any bubbles. Allow to dry overnight and then apply a few thin coasts of oil-based varnish, which will give a more transparent finish. Hang on the wall using plate hooks.
