The London Design Festival 2012 is now in full swing and this morning, Housetohome popped along to the V&A museum to take a look at the 'Mimicry Chairs' installation and preview the 'Out of the Woods' exhibition.

Celebrating the humble chair, both the exhibition and the installation have taken this common household item and reinvented it in weird and wonderful ways.

From rowing boat chairs to ghostly chair towers, it'll make you look at this everyday item in a completely different light.
