Degree shows can be a way to acquire original art at reasonable prices.

Remember:

1) Students at postgraduate shows will be more technically developed than BA students.
2) The Royal College of Art is a hotbed of new talent as it's completely postgraduate, and many of the students are already exhibiting with galleries. Also try The Royal Academy (whose Summer Exhibition is the largest open modern art exhibition in the world), Goldsmiths, Cardiff School of Art and Design, Glasgow School of Art and The University of the Arts London.
3) The end-of-year graduation shows usually take place from the end of May to the beginning of June. Prices start at around £100.
