Children's Zone at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
Free entry for kids this weekend at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
Wondering what to do with the kids this weekend? The RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show has the answer – with free entry this weekend for children under 16 (up to 2 children per 1 paying adult) and a Children’s Zone that’s guaranteed to be a whole bunch of fun!
For the younger kids, there’s a Fifi and the Flowertots feature, with wheelbarrow courses and special appearances from Fifi herself.
Budding musicians won’t want to miss ‘Growing Sounds’, a workshop where kids can make musical instruments from fruit and vegetables and then perform with them.
Look out, too, for the British Beekeepers Association in the Children’s Zone as they’ll be offering candle-making and bee-drawing as well as lessons on how bees make honey.
Older children won't be stuck for entertainment either, with henna art, balloon modelling, face-painting and giant garden games like Jenga, to keep them busy.
Other attractions include the chance to feed a Venus Fly Trap, garden trails and a Tudor Scarecrow competition.
