Livingetc is proud to support two exciting events for London Design Festival 2012 in the Central District - Fitzrovia Now and designjunction.

This corner of London is one of the design world's best-kept secrets - til now. Stylish shops and trendy restaurants are standard, but the sense of community is the main draw here. With major brand showrooms like Republic of Fritz Hansen in partnership with Skandium, EDC London, Ligne Roset, Minotti London, Hastens, Material Lab, Forza and Vola, plus the RIBA and Together Design all within easy strolling distance of one another, it's like a small town within a big city. For sustenance, we like cocktails at the Sanderson and the much-celebrated interior (and food) at The Riding House Cafe.

Fitzrovia Now runs from 17 - 23 September with launch parties/late night being held on Wednesday 19 September 2012, London W1. Free.

London's West End has joined the festival line-up by hosting desigjnunction, which promises brave shapes, plenty of product launches and a whole lotta attitude. Set in the industrial splendour of the listed Sixties Sorting Office (complete with spiralling, blue letter chutes), the show offers everything from flash factories to food outlets, as well as a host of exciting brands such as Another Country, Modus, Benjamin Hubert, John Galvin and Carl Hansen.

Don't miss the chance to see London Design Festival by bike. You can join the daily 3-hour tokyobike tours, supported by Livingetc, for just £30 including bike hire & helmet, lunch and an exclusive goodie bag. For more information, see here.

designjunction runs from 19 - 23 September at The Sorting Office, 21-31 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1BA. Free.
