This Sussex beach house was completely re-designed and extended by the owners, who wanted a Californian-style property that really blended in with its surroundings.  With expanses of glass and weathered wood cladding, the owners have created a truly contemporary and individual take on a traditional beach house.

With huge folding doors leading out on to a sunny terrace, the contrast between interior and exterior is blurred.
