Living area

The living space includes the original mezzanine from the 19th century barn extension, which is now an extra dining space and children's play area. Part of the attraction of the old building was that the posts and beams are bigger than in modern construction, the wood is untreated, and the pieces are slotted together. Victorian Woodworks can supply reclaimed oak floorboards. The vintage rocking chair is by Geoffrey Harcourt, covered in striped Donghia fabric; Rubelli has a similar selection.
