Sean Cochrane: kitchen designer nominee

Sean Cochrane has had an unusual route to interior design and architecture.
His first business was a tree surgery practice and in 2000 he founded the White Apartment Company which specialised in simple and cost-effective renovations of flats in London. The White Apartment Company gave Sean ten years of experience working with planners, contractors, architects and other building professionals.

Cochrane Design began in 2004. The company is the culmination of Seans professional experience and knowledge as well as his creative flair. Cochrane Design projects are known for their innovative use of space and light and their modern, fresh approach to colour and texture.

Sean infuses his work with influences from his travels bringing inspiration from South Africa where he lived for two years and Asia in particular. Over the last few years Cochrane Design has been quietly building recognition and a high profile client list as well as accumulating numerous awards along the way.
