The Official Troops Day

Last year, the Ideal Home Show launched its Ideal Homes for Heroes appeal, raising £102,000 to help fund grants to adapt homes for injured soldiers. In 2010 the 30-piece Royal Signals Band opened the the celebrations (pictured), and this year's Troops Day on 12 March will see entertainment from The La De Dahs, as well as The Soldiers, plus a series of military-inspired activities throughout the day. All members of the Armed Forces are allowed free access to the show, too.
